Papa Louie’s Test Batch #2 keg tapping

Our Test Batch #2, a hoppy Scotch Ale, will be released this Friday during our lunch hours, and hopefully will last into the weekend a bit.

Tasting notes: ruddy orange color, thick caramel maltiness with biscuits, honey, and toast, cinnamon spiciness from the hops, and a cleaner ester profile than the previous test batch.

I don’t want to take any momentum away from our Valentine’s Day firkin event with Tallgrass Brewing, so I won’t be announcing this on Facebook and Twitter until Friday.

With Grainstorm, Raspberry Halcyon, and TB #2, we’re bound to have a fun weekend of beer drinking tasting.
